MacBook Model Guide
Finding the right case for your MacBook is all about knowing your Model Number. This number starts with an "A" followed by four digits (e.g., A2992).
How to Find Your Model Number (Axxxx)

Check the Bottom of your MacBook: Flip your laptop over. The model number is printed in very small text near the top or bottom of the back casing.

Check Original Packaging: If you still have the box, the model number is listed on the barcode label.

Use the Guide Below: Once you have your "Axxxx" number, match it to the list below to ensure a perfect CandyShield fit.
Other Ways to Identify Your MacBook
Option 1: Using "About This Mac"
If your MacBook is powered on, this is the fastest way to see your official model name:

Click the Apple Logo () in the top-left corner.

Select About This Mac.

Alternatively: Open System Settings > General > About.

The window will display your model, such as: "MacBook Air (13-inch, M3, 2024)".
Option 2: Using Apple’s Support Site
If the text on the back of your Mac is faded, use your Serial Number:

Find your Serial Number in the "About This Mac" menu or on the bottom of the device.

Visit Apple’s Check Coverage Page.

Enter your Serial Number and the CAPTCHA code.

The site will display your exact model name and release year.

Double Check the "A": > Most returns happen because customers confuse the Air 13" M1 (Wedge shape) with the Air 13" M2/M3 (Flat shape). Always verify the Model Number starts with Axxxx on the bottom of the device before ordering.

M4 Update: The newest 2024/2025 MacBook Pros (M4) use the same chassis as the M1/M2/M3 Pro series. If your current CandyShield stock fits the A2779 or A2992, it will fit the new A3401/A3185 perfectly!
