MacBook Model Guide
Finding the right case for your MacBook is all about knowing your Model Number. This number starts with an "A" followed by four digits (e.g., A2992), found on the bottom of your device.
How to Find Your Model Number (Axxxx)
-
Check the Bottom: Flip your laptop over. The model number is printed in tiny text near the hinge.
-
"About This Mac": Click the Apple Logo () > About This Mac.
-
Check the Box: If you have the original packaging, the "A" number is near the barcode.

💡 Pro-Tips for a Perfect Fit
-
The M4/M5 Assurance: The 2024/2025 M4 and M5 MacBook Pros use the exact same chassis as the M1/M2/M3 versions. Your existing Candy Shield Pro 14" or 16" cases for Apple Silicon will fit these new models perfectly!
-
Wedge vs. Flat: If your MacBook Air gets thinner toward the front, you have a Wedge model (A2337). If it is the same thickness all around, you have the Flat model (A2681/A3113/A3240). These cases are not interchangeable.
